Biography

Eric Daniel Stumpp is an American Actor, known for "The Walking Dead" (2019), "Just Mercy" (2019) and Tyler Perry Studios "A Fall From Grace" (2020). He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to his mother Mildred Thompson, a Bronx-born secretary and his father William Stumpp, an Electrician. Eric went off to college and received a degree in Television/Film production. His first major film debut was in "12 Monkeys"(1995), followed by box-office success "The Six Sense" (1996). Stumpp is also a talented musician as well as an actor, and he played piano, guitar, and wrote songs for his Funk/EDM band "NUVO". Years later he created the highly successful Hard Rock band "OCTANE". Although they never achieved national success, their song "Gasoline" was played on daily rotation at Philadelphia's #1 radio station 94WYSP. Taking a break from the music scene, Stumpp went back into film work and signed on to Sylvester Stallone's movie "Creed (2016). Eric Daniel Stumpp has recurring roles on "The Resident", "Macgyver", "Dynasty," and has a featured role as a new survivor in the 2020 season of "The Walking Dead".
