Richard Arthur Baker is based in East Sussex, England and has been involved in film since late 2013. Initially cutting his teeth as a Background Artist on television commercials, Richard progressed to Background Artist roles on serial dramas such as Lucky Man, starring James Nesbitt (Sky 2016) and movies such as Kill Your Friends, starring Nicholas Hoult (Studio Canal 2015). He is now working on supporting and featured roles in independent films such as 'The Dean' in Impatient/Patient Disorder (Pires & Price 2016) and 'John' in Leaving Pamela (Grenadier Films 2015)
Richard has utilized his transferable theatre skills in drama, comedy, musical and pantomime to film, drawing on leading roles such as 'George' in Of Mice and Men, 'The Anarchist' in Accidental Death of an Anarchist, 'Herod' in Jesus Christ Superstar, 'Nathan Detroit' in Guys and Dolls and the titular role in Macbeth.
