New York based actress Polly Kreisman was born in New York City, grew up in Washington, DC, and graduated from Cornell University. She went on to win 15 Emmy Awards for investigative reporting.
Now, she tells stories as an actress.
She has appeared on HBO for THE UNDOING, Directed by Emmy winner Susanne Bier, and THE PLOT AGAINST AMERICA, based on the novel by Phillip Roth. Audiences know her for CBS' TOMMY with Edie Falco, THE BLACKLIST on NBC, and HUNTERS from Amazon.
During her Journalism career, she reported for WPIX-TV, WNBC-TV and WWOR-TV in New York and worked as a Capitol Correspondent in Washington. Polly also produced pieces for ABC News, MSNBC and dozens of other news stations.
Polly studies in New York at the Kimball Studio and is Mom to teenage twins, a boy and a girl. She loves dogs, horses, Barre, yoga and a good hike.
