Born to Reverend David Hine and Jackie Hine in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Josiah moved, at the age of 6, to Pembine, Wisconsin. With few friends around, his father introduced him to vintage films to share the interest. Actors such as John Wayne, Steve McQueen, and Humphrey Bogart inspired Josiah to learn the art.
At the age of 8, Josiah was given a VHS camera to play around with. From there, the creativity grew and the art of film-making and acting over-took his imagination. Studying the industry and films, Josiah developed a love for the creativity in acting and performing.
After moving to South Carolina, and graduating high school in 2010, Josiah pursued the acting industry by working with friends making short films. His love for the arts grew, and therefore expanded his creative outlets. Writing films and film reviews, he was able to consolidate his ideas from his self taught education and current talents to really nail down the performance.
