Sam was born in Des Moines, IA in 1990. In 2008 he moved to Kirksville, MO to study theater at Truman State University. In the fall of 2011 Sam worked with former Artistic Director PJ Paparelli, work-shopping an updated version of the play columbinus. He played Loner / Dylan Klebold.
In 2013, Sam began study in improv and comedy in Chicago. Having completed The Second City's Conservatory program, Sam is an independent producer, writer, and director. In 2017 he performed with the group Happy Tragedy at the Del Close Marathon. Most recently he can be seen in small film projects and guest appearances around Chicago's improv comedy scene.
