Burak Dogansoysal

He was born in Bursa in 1978. He attended Robert College in Istanbul as a boarding student where he started taking photography, film and literature lessons. He then studied business administration and started taking wildlife photos while at the university. He started filming wildlife documentaries in 2007 making his debut in 2008 with a short 28 minute documentary he filmed in Pantanal, Brazil about jaguars. He worked on several short documentaries until 2014, when he began filming a TV series for TRT Belgesel, documentary channel of the Turkish TV Network, TRT. 13 episode TV show titled Yabanci: Hayati Kesfet (2015) was filmed in East Africa documenting the wildlife and culture of the region. He mainly films wildlife, nature and adventure themed documentaries for TV.
