Biography

Jhonny Gleez is a filmmaker raised in Spain. After studying Professional sound he starts working on several short films and documentaries. Some years later he decides to study Film Direction in several Spanish schools. After his first short film "Octobers 5" decides to operate the camera, to reach more control on his films, learning all the possible of each proyect. In 2012, Jhonny writes and directs "The Woman Without Expression", selected to be part of Lars Von Trier's "Gesamt". That was the same year when he starts his first feature film, "North", a documentary about extreme metal musicians. The film was released in 2014, being the first part of the "Artist's Trilogy", whose second part is his last short film "The Photographer And The Memory".
