Theron Derrick

Theron is an Actor, professional drummer, and songwriter. Theron started modeling at 16 for Ebony Man magazine and went on to model many different brands, including Levi's. As a professional drummer, Theron has toured and/or recorded for many artist performing wide ranges and genres of music from hard "Rock & Roll" with Scott Stapp of the multi-platinum rock band Creed, to "Country & Western" with Larry Bagby/"Walk The Line", to hardcore "Funk" with George Clinton/Parliament-Funkadelic, to soulful "R&B" with Erykah Badu or The O'Jays, to "Hip-Hop" with The Alkaholiks and many others well known artist over the last 30 years. Theron spent many years drumming for International iconic multi-platinum Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group The Temptations, performing 175-200 shows a year Internationally. Theron puts as much effort into studying/training to be a respected working actor as he's done with his musical career. In between touring, Theron was a regular Stand-In/Double/Off Camera dialogue/Stunts for seasons 5, 6, and 7 on the hit FX series Sons Of Anarchy. where he was around some of the best actors, writers, producers, crew, and performers in show business. As an actor it was a wealth of information for him and he felt it was a blessing to be a part of such a fast paced, well oiled, and powerfully charged environment. With all of that inspiration everyday, he dove further into his acting studies and considered Sons Of Anarchy "going to a brilliant daily crash course of the best Ivy League school for acting you could imagine!" and considers himself very fortunate to be a part of it. In between touring, acting, creating music, he spends his down time relaxing with his family & friends, reading books, studying, riding motorcycles, training in martial arts, and sitting in with other bands with artist/bands around L.A. Theron's an avid motorcycle enthusiast and rider.
