Christian Hays

Christian Hays is a filmmaker, actor and photographer based in Philadelphia. Currently an MFA candidate at Temple's Film and Media Arts program. His work is informed by surrealism, theatre, comedy and mental health. His cinematic influences include the works of Jacques Tati, Robert Bresson, Buster Keaton and Abbas Kiarostami. Christian is currently in post-production for his thesis documentary on his uncle, Don Larison, a painter with Down syndrome who battled dementia.
