Aurora Hooper is a film editor, photographer, and actress. She attended Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Film.
Aurora has been editing videos since the age of 12, and has developed a love and passion for film since then. At the age of 16, she led her school in a video competition run by the TV show, "Glee," which asked it's competitors to explain why there school was in need of financial aid for the art and music programs. With the help from her peers and teachers, she submitted the winning video, receiving $10,000 for Lyman Memorial High School.
While in high school, Aurora was recognized for her outstanding efforts in theatre, music and art. She was heavily involved with the school's drama program, and worked as the technical director for each show.
In 2014, Aurora was given the honor of being a recipient of the Connecticut High School Fine Arts Award in Performance. Later that year, her short film, "The Trip to Wyoming" won Best Film, and Best Cinematography at the Quiet Corner Film Festival in Killingly, CT.
Shortly after beginning her education career at Full Sail University Aurora was chosen for an internship at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015. There she worked on the technical team for sound and lighting. Aurora's ultimate goal is to work as an editor in the film industry.
