Vincent Soberano

Biography

Vincent Soberano studied film and television in San Diego, California, where he first started working for Stu Segall Productions in 1991. He later moved to Los Angeles and worked in a variety of film and TV projects until eventually transitioning to the IT industry. Vincent now works in Asia, behind and in front of the camera. He recently wrote and directed the horror/action film "Circle of Bones" which is slated for release in early 2020. He is the writer and director of the action/fantasy film "Blood Hunters: Rise of the Hybrids" (2019), which won Best Feature Film at the NYCA Film Festival in New York. His recent works as writer and director also include the martial arts epic drama, "The Trigonal" (2018), which premiered in Cannes on May 12, 2018, and the multiple award-winning short "We Are War" (2018). He also directed the award-winning National Geographic Channel documentary, "On The Brink: Uncharted Waters" (2016). In addition, he was the action director of the action/comedy blockbuster "Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad" (2017) which broke Philippine box office records in December 2017. Vincent Soberano is also an actor with credits in Jackie Chan's "Police Story: Lockdown" (2013), the UFC's "The Ultimate Fighter (China): First Season" (2014), "Blood Hunters" (2016), "The Trigonal" (2018), "Blood Hunters: Rise of the Hybrids" (2019), "Circle of Bones" (2020), and was recently cast in a lead role for a new dramatic film by 2-time Emmy award-winner Sergio Guerrero this year. Vincent Soberano is also the co-producer and co-host of a new parenting chat show and podcast, "Kungfu Momma Show" with host/producer Sarah Chang.
