Biography

Faraz Haider is a Filmmaker/Singer/Music Producer based in Karachi who has been making music for a while now over the years. Faraz was initially the lead singer of the band Andher in early 2000s which later led to his solo career in 2010 when he launched his first debut album Andher. Album consisted of 12 Urdu songs with a touch of electronic rock genre. Faraz's second album was launched in 2014. This album had more of a hard rock flavor with Faraz's trademark electronic sound fused with guitar riffs and his high pitched vocals. Playroom is the third album that is entirely written and sung in English. It took 3 years to record, mix and master the album because Faraz was switching his genre from industrial rock to pure pop. The album has 14 tracks including 3 remixes and is available on all streaming platforms. Being a music producer and singer, Faraz also has a background in filmmaking. In 2016 he wrote and directed his debut short film 'Orphic' which was a psychological thriller based on a music composer. Faraz has also directed many of his own music videos.
