Biography

Seb Carrington is an English-born Irish actor, singer and musician. He had his breakout role in Netflix's The Crown as Alan Bennett. He next acted opposite Mark Williams in BBC 1's Father Brown, Keeley Hawes in Stephen Poliakoff's Summer of Rockets, and is currently filming with Christopher Nolan in undisclosed project (2020) Seb has been nominated for Best Actor in a Play at The Stage Debut Awards 2018 for his role in Summer and Smoke at The Almeida, and reprised his role in the West End transfer at The Duke of York Theatre. A graduate of the University of St Andrews in Philosophy and International Relations, Seb was awarded the Rose Bowl award for Best Actor upon his graduation from St Andrews. He was awarded the Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship to train at Drama Centre in London and Moscow (previous alumni include Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan). He was nominated by Drama Centre to represent them at the UK Spotlight Awards 2016.
