Sara Newton

Sara Newton began her career in television as a Production Assistant for BET's hit show "Nellyville" and other various productions no one has heard of. She is a Co-Producer, director, and writer of a comedy web-series: "Made by Tom and Sara" on YouTube and Funny or Die. Newton has extensive experience as a Script Assistant for Marmont Lane Entertainment (Assisting CEO Christine Peters). Newton is also a free-lance script consultant, writer, stand-up comic, and editor. On a personal note, Newton is from Tampa Bay but spent the better part of her years in the correctional facilities in Montana; as an officer. Newton is a certified crisis negotiator and West Bank enthusiast. She spent years living in Palestine teaching English Literature and being a self-righteous, white expat. Newton has a partial M.A in Diplomacy and a B.A. in Political Science from USF. She plays well with others.
