Fernando Santos

Fernando Santos is a cinematographer known for O elixir da vida (2014), O Teu Nome feat. Mariza (2018), Come to Portugal (2019) and É Preciso (2020). Fernando Santos was born in Lisbon - Portugal. From an early age, he yearned to be a film director. He receive his first camera on his thirteenth birthday. Fernando grew up in Mozambique and Portugal. After finishing school, Fernando decided to study photography and cinema at Arts School António Arroio in Lisbon. After studding photography and cinema, started working in TV commercial films first as stop motion animator and SFX director, than as live action director. Fernando had experience as TV commercial and music video director and producer. Over the years, Fernando has collaborated with a lot of top Portuguese directors as director of photography.
