Basil Meeking

Basil Meeking (b. John Basil Meeking) is a Roman Catholic Bishop Emeritus of Christchurch, New Zealand. He was the 7th Bishop of the See of Christchurch from 1987 to 1995. He was appointed as Bishop of Christchurch by Pope St John Paul II on 30 March 1987, resigning as Bishop from the See on 15 December 1995.
