Teri Rogers

Biography

Teri Rogers was born in Saint Louis, MO and raised in Amarillo, TX. She attended Amarillo High School and won Best Actress in the UIL One-Act Play Festival for her role as Mayella Ewell in "To Kill a Mockingbird." Teri earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Performance from the University of Texas at Arlington. While in school, she worked professional as an actor in the Dallas-Fort Worth theater community. Teri performed with WaterTower Theater, Theater Three, and Classical Acting Company. After graduation, Teri continued to work in the DFW area before travelling to New York where she was cast as Beth in the second national tour of "Little Women: The Broadway Musical." She returned to Amarillo after the tour and co-founded Avenue 10 theater company, a theater dedicated to providing opportunities and exposure to underrepresented communities. She returned to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and continued to work as a professional stage actor with equity theater companies. Eventually, she auditioned for and was cast in the role of Akeno in "High School DxD" at Funimation. Teri worked on numerous shows and films at Funimation before leaving voice acting to focus on her education.
