Alexander Nunez is a Canadian actor and writer of Jamaican & Chilean descent. He is most well known for his roles in Wish Upon (2017) and Avocado Toast (2020). Born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, Alexander showed a keen interest in performing and began his acting career at age 17. Alexander began booking roles while studying theatre and psychology at the University of Toronto. He has guest-starred on several notable shows, including Kim's Convenience (2017), The Bold Type (2017), In The Dark (2019, and A Teacher (2020). Alexander is also a screenwriter. He wrote and produced Diversity Hire (2019), which has received an Award of Commendation For a Comedic Short Film during the 2019 Canada Shorts Film Festival. He is also returning to Avocado Toast for their second season as both a writer and series regular.
