Matthew Robillard is a prolific writer-director-producer of dramatic feature film and television comedy. His passion is great storytelling, discovering super talented comedians and employing them as often as possible.
Matt made his first film with his brother Andy in the summer of 1984. It was a post-apocalyptic actioner shot on super 8mm that had special effects, costumes and a running time of about five minutes. No animals were harmed during the making of that film, but gunpowder was used during the climactic final scene.
Matt has gone on to write four screenplays: "The Voyageur", "High Caliber Jury", "Canyons of Gold", and his most recent project, "The Room", the logline of which reads: Young man stumbles into a secret room full of the world's most powerful people and begins an epic, life-changing journey that may very well effect the fate of Mankind.
