Oliver Zane Rouch was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 13, 1993. He was raised in Grandview Heights, Ohio where he attended Grandview Heights High School. While attending Grandview Heights High School he became an an All-Ohio football player in addition to becoming an All-District basketball and baseball player. Oliver also operated as Editor-in-Chief of Grandview Heights High School's journalism program.
After high school Oliver attended Capital University in Bexley, Ohio where he majored in Communications with an emphasis in Electronic Media and Film. During his time at Capital, Oliver also began a production company known as "Oxenfree Original Productions" where he created video content for local Ohio businesses and non-profit corporations. His production company also produced and directed his first full length documentary "Bobcat One Hundred".
Oliver Rouch is now attending Wake Forest University's Documentary Film Program to earn his Master's of Sports Storytelling under the guidance of Professor Peter Gilbert (Hoop Dreams) and continues to produce documentaries under his company name (Oxenfree Original Productions).
