Sink was born and raised in Philadelphia. She studied acting and voice with Neal and Alicia Tracy of The University of the Arts throughout high school, and went on to study film and screenwriting at Emerson College in Boston. After moving to New York, Sink furthered her performance skill set, studying method acting under Bill Balzac and Mauricio Bustamante at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute.
A dancer since the age of 6, Sink considers the discipline her first love. She danced competitively throughout her teens, claiming top soloist titles in lyrical and contemporary categories. She danced professionally in Boston with Boston Community Dance Project (BCDP), and continues to study the Simonson technique at Gibney Dance in New York.
Her advanced artistry in dance allowed for opportunities to star in several theater productions at The Academy of The New Church (as Dorothy Gale in "The Wizard of Oz"; as Peggy Sawyer in "42nd Street"; as Rosie Alvarez in "Bye Bye Birdie"; and Penny in "Honk!"). She won a regional award for Best Dancer for her performance in "42nd Street". In 2010, she joined the ensemble of T4Y Playmakers in Philadelphia, playing James in "James and the Giant Peach" and Alice in "Alice in Wonderland".
Sink's talent for acting onscreen was first discovered in 2012, when she won an EVVY Award for Best Actor for her portrayal of a homeless woman in the short film "Haymaker". Since then, she's made TV appearances in Martin Scorsese's "Vinyl" on HBO and "The Dr. Oz Show" on ABC, and has starred and co-starred in several independent films. Experience in the film community provided Sink the opportunity to hone her craft behind the camera as well. She has worked as a set photographer and production coordinator on several commercials and films, gaining a full-spectrum understanding of the film industry.
An avid lover of music, Sink quickly found herself falling into the electronic music industry after college, making a name for herself as the vocalist of electronic duo Bassline Drift. The group's unique world fusion style quickly garnered a response in the music licensing world (Bassline Drift's track "Dhumavati" was used in an episode of SyFy's "Killjoys"). The band has also toured nationally, opening for lauded musical group Beats Antique in several cities and playing electronic festivals Down To Earth in New York and One Vibration in Colorado.
Sink's songwriting abilities also landed her the opportunity to write original jazz song "Stab At It" for Robin Wright's directorial debut short film, "The Dark of Night", which premiered at Cannes Film Festival and is now available on Amazon as part of the Etheria Film Festival. She continues to write original music as a solo artist (Sink), and is expected to release her debut album in the coming months. She's been featured as a vocalist on albums for several other artists, and releases educational songwriting videos to help others sharpen their skills.
With her unmistakable, raspy voice, Sink has also added VoiceOver work to her arsenal, with credits including commercials for Spotify, Disney Resorts, and various regional schools and companies in the Northeast.
Through her dexterity in acting, singing, dancing, writing, and producing, Sink plans to continue her love of storytelling in the entertainment industry. She has developed many original projects that will soon make their debut.
