Guan-Ju Lai

Supposedly born on the surface below the Cloud City on Bespin, Guan-Ju "Danny" Lai was found by a wayward doctor banished from the city. The doctor raised the boy, but as time wore on grew tired of his constant nagging and moodiness. The cloud of mind altering gases on the surface of Bespin caused Guan-Jool to hallucinate to the point he believed he was at an after school program with other kids when in fact it was just him and his new father. One day the doctor stumbled upon a teleport device that had been dumped from the city. He worked for many years developing the transporter. Being a gracious parent, he allowed his adopted son to go first. Now, he was a doctor, not an engineer or technician of any kind. So his attempts at repairing the teleport were well intentioned but ill informed and at times just plain wrong. Eventually he got to the point where he could no longer take Guan-Joo's complaining about how difficult chemistry (the doctor's favorite subject in all the world) had become and the doctor declared the teleport to be completed! So Guan-Jeau stuffed himself into the teleport and in a flash of light he disappeared. Time passed as square framed spectacles and Lego's went out of style. All the while his atoms shot towards small pale blue dot towards the reaches of a galaxy far, far away. The coordinates the doctor had input were random, and when Guan-Ju materialized, incredibly with all body parts in their original placement and the brain only slightly contorted but not enough to considerably alter brain function, he found himself falling towards the surface of this new planet. He landed in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. "Danny" began to fall at speeds high enough to cause burning from air friction. Fortunately for him, the only part of his body scarred is the patch of skin just below the nose, and he is now incapable of growing a mustache that connects. When he hit the Earth headfirst, he was given his trademark flat top of the head, in part due to the fluid and malleable nature of his molecules so recently after finishing his teleportation.
