Aliya Brooks

Born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey, Aliya Brooks is a Registered Nurse and writer living in Atlanta, Georgia. She is known for contributing to countless poetry slams throughout central Florida, but more so recently has focused on writing films. She is an active member of the Atlanta Film Festival and African American Film Festival Releasing Movement.
