Maju Souza

Maju was born Maria Julia Souza Rucinski on Brasilia, Brazil, to an euro-brazilian family, partly polish and partly italian. She is the only child of Joao Henrique Rucinski, an brazilian army capitain, of polish descent and Ruzielde Aparecida de Souza, of italian descent, who also acts as Maju's agent. She made her debut at 13 years old when she was chosen after a test among other 800 girls for the movie O outro lado do Paraíso, for wich she won many acting prizes, including best actress in the Trieste festival in Italy. She has since then worked in Todas as vidas "Cora Coralina" and Duas Irenes. She is now working in the musical movie She who brings the night, that is currently under production (as of February 28th, 2017).
