Emili Suriñach Arderiu

Born in 1944 in Roda de Ter, his first attempt of acting was at his early age of 9 years old at school plays, creating his own amateur theater group, trying to mirror his icons from the Hollywood classics. He had to leave the pursuit of his dreams when crisis hit Spain and went to help his parents. Not losing the artistic scene, Emili became singer and writer as he studied Economy. Poetry award winner, faced his parenting life by creating his own advisory firm which lasted until he retired at the age of 65. All these time, he's given lectures and conferences of economics and poetry in different schools and universities, trying to be connected to the people. These last few years recovered the dreams left aside by publishing 4 books (novel and poetry) and going back to his most beloved art: acting. He's appeared as an extra in La Riera and played Pere Rius i Raspall in the documentary "300". "I like acting; one single life is quite boring", he says to describe his restless enthusiasm.
