Anthony Houhoulis is an American filmmaker, musician, writer, painter and polymath, known for 128 Years (2019), Letting Go (2014), and the podcast Interested Anthony (2020). Born in Boston, Massachusetts, his artistic endeavors began at the age of two, when he received his first violin. He subsequently added saxophone and guitar to his repertoire. In 2013, he performed in the stage production 'The Filmmaker's Mystery,' playing the role of Detective Kinderman, in John Hancock Hall at Boston's Back Bay Events Center. In addition to his time in the theatre, Houhoulis produced a slew of short films, which garnered him an online following. In addition to his multi-instrumentalist roots, he is an accomplished producer, songwriter, sound engineer, composer and DJ. He is known for crafting music in a variety of genres, including pop, EDM, jazz and classical. In 2019, he made his theatrical directorial debut, with the film 128 Years (2019), which tells the true story of the 1891 New Orleans lynchings. The film's limited theatrical release was followed up by its worldwide streaming release on Amazon Prime Video. In 2020, he began the podcast Interested Anthony (2020), which he hosts and produces. With a diverse body of guests coming from a broad background, the show reached over one million people within its first five episodes.
