Raquel Hurrieta, who plays the role of Lizzy Cordova on Bloom, is a Colorado native who attends a Colorado arts and humanities high school. Raquel has been very lucky to work with supportive groups like the Athena Project Festival, which helped her to write and do a stage reading of her first play, "These Happy Days" in 2013. She currently is working with Mirror Image Arts in developing a six week after school bullying prevention program. Raquel has been performing locally for two years, in which time she has appeared in stage performances of Willy Wonka, Alice in Wonderland Jr, and The CenterStage Theater companies production of Once Upon a Mattress. Her film credits include the short film "Accumen".
