Biography

Paul Alexander Taft was born in Oldham, England in 1973. From his first role at age 7 and through his formative years youth and on into college, Paul found his way out into the footlights whenever he could. He first came to the United States in the Summer of 1993 and spent the next 5 years performing wherever the opportunity presented, while splitting time living on both sides of the Atlantic. In 1998, a year after their meeting, he married Ellen, his wife of 20 years and made a permanent move to the United States. They reside in Boston MA, with their 3 children (a daughter and two sons) and their dog, Chevy. After an extended hiatus to raise his family, during which time he became a US citizen, he returned to acting, in 2014 with a new focus in Film and Television. Demonstrating the committed work ethic he learned from his father and older sister, Paul continues to act in film and theater, while breaking new ground as a Director and Producer for Hop Top Films. Paul is best know for his role as therapist 'Dr Ian Black' in "The Silver Scream" a 5 part music video feature from metal-core band Ice Nine Kills.
