Biography

Anthony Matzke was born in a small town near New Orleans, Louisiana called Slidell in 1996. He expressed an intriguing passion for the arts at a very very young age. He competed in speech and debate through his high school years and received many high awards including 3rd humorous in the nation by the NCFCA. His first work to gain popularity was a video he uploaded to Youtube in 2009 called "Be a Voice". He says even he was unaware of its reception until he heard a radio talk show discussing it. In 2012 he found himself on stage as the lead in "A Covington Native in King Arthur's Court", a comedy that received many good reviews. His latest work has been directing his first feature film called "Some Tears Stain Red" set to hit theaters on November 7th, 2015. "It's been an exciting time for me." He says. With the lead role in an upcoming short film called "Back Then" and more to be announced, Anthony Matzke's acting, writing and directing career as on the rise.
