Mandy Leigh Slater

Mandy Leigh Slater, born Mandy Leigh Henrie, was born in Ogden, Utah in 1978. Mandy's parents were divorced by the time she was four and she moved between them through her adolescence. Mandy found solitude and happiness in high school with the theater department and improv club. Participating in high school plays and competing in local and regional competitions, she found that acting let her not only become and discover her characters, but she also discovered herself. After graduating she moved, got married, started a family and divorced some years later. During this time she lost track of her acting and missed it terribly. In 2007, Mandy reentered the acting world and did a short film and many "extra" acting jobs. Mandy filling maybe she needed to "grow up" and go back to school, left and started at a local university, then some years later a local cosmetology school for esthetics. In 2011, Mandy found love and was supported, and influenced to follow her dreams. Mandy believes that anything is possible with hard work, determination, and never giving up, especially on your dreams. "If they can do it, so can we.", Mandy says. With daily living of what you dream, it is no longer a dream, it is reality.
