Jason Spafford

Jason Spafford wrote, directed and produced the independent film, "Butler Minnesota" in the late 1990s. He recently produced and directed two biographies on JFK (2013) and Ronald Reagan (2014). With over twenty plus years in the production business he has produced and directed projects ranging from educational content to corporate IDs and web series. He grew up in northern Wisconsin near the town of Rhinelander, WI (Home of the Hodag). He attended the UW Madison-Wisconsin where he produced one of the first independent features by a sole student, shot entirely on video. Later he moved to Minneapolis, MN. While producing and directing he also has been involved in several start-up companies. One of note, was a DVD production and menu design company started in 1999, at the onset of the DVD. The business was sold in 2007. He is married and lives in Minneapolis with his wife and three children.
