Biography

Daniel Barker is an actor, writer and impressionist born in Kentish Town, London. Under the pseudonym 'Damien Slash', he writes and performs solo character comedy for BBC Radio 4 in 'The Damien Slash Mixtape'. As an actor his debut appearance on screen was alongside Julia Davis in Camping before working with the cast of 'Red Dwarf' becoming one of the most recurring guest performers in the show's history. Daniel has also appeared as Drexl in BAFTA Nominated 'PLS LIKE' , as Clerk in the BAFTA award winning comedy 'Stath Lets Flats' and as Dominic Cummings in 'Spitting Image'. Daniel began his career as a music producer under EMI Publishing working with artists including Lana Del Rey and Grace Jones before gaining a following on YouTube performing character comedy and impressions. He has voiced for games, animation, film and toys including the Silly Sausage toy which was featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Johnathon Ross. Other recent appearances include Slime in the audio book version of 'Slime' by David Walliams Ron Hubble in 'Strike' and Zeke in 'Xenoblade Chronicles 2' for Nintendo Daniel is the grandson of the poets Elizabeth Smart and George Barker.
