A Multi-talented artist. Raphael Teixeira is a musician, actor and visual artist focused on installations. He holds a Master in Fine Arts in Acting (International) at the University of Essex, England and a Music Education degree at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He studied Acting at Casa das Artes de Laranjeiras - CAL and East 15 Acting School. He has also participated in Artistic Residency's with Yuri Butusov, The Russian Academy of Theatre Art's, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre Education Program; and attended workshops with several actor's from the french company Theatré su Soleil, including Ariane Mnouchkine herself. In England, he performed the lead roles in Othello at the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival (2014), Goethe's Faust at the Corbet Theatre (2013) and The Star's that Play with Laughinh Sam's Dice at the Pentameter's Theatre (2013). In Brazil he played Ferdinand in The Tempest production held by the People's Palace Project (2016) and had made several appearances in films and TV including one of the leading roles in the feature film Destino das Sombras (2018). Raphael plays the violinist and speaks several languages.
