Alessio was born in Frascati (Italy) on 01/02/1973. In 1993 he moved to London (UK) where he studied photography at the London College of Printing and where he would live until 2002. In 1996 he began working for the NME (New Musical Express) one of the most respected and important music magazines worldwide. For six years he traveled around the world to portray musicians such as Neil Young, Rolling Stones, Metallica, REM, U2, Coldplay, Oasis, Gwen Stefany, Snoop Dogg, on commission of the most important international magazines (Times, Rolling Stone, Guardian, Observer). In 2002 he returned to live in Italy, where he still works with all major magazines (Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Repubblica) and Italian record labels for which he produces photo shoots, music videos and documentaries for major Italian artists and musicians. In 2005 he published a book of photographs of the live event of the year by Luciano Ligabue «A day to Liga» held on 10 September in Campovolo (RE). In 2006 he published a second book, «Verso Sud» a travelogue made following Negrita for three months traveling in South America, Spain and Italy and filming also what will become a DVD. He also collaborates with the most important fashion, entertainment and glamorous Italian magazines. Receives assignments from the world of fashion and advertising industry: Fiat, Activia/Danone, Nike, Talco to name a few. In November 2012 his first photo exhibition entitled «Just a shot away» is held in Milan, 100 shots that tell the artistic and professional life of Alessio. In June 2012, Alessio moves to Locarno, where he filmed his first short movie, "Come un morto in Acapulco" (Dead Man in Acapulco)
