Biography

Jack Ide is a cinematographer, actor and photographer from Plymouth. Notably, Ide is a member of two companies, Not Enough Knife Productions and J.A.M Studios, two closely linked companies which specialise in independent film. At the age of 11, he started acting in short home movies along side close friend Matt Senior, and continues to work with him today in more professional films, such as 'Life.' Aside from filmmaking with Senior, Ide is a keen independent photographer, and focuses mainly on nature shots for personal use. In addition to this, Ide previously designed posters and thumbnails for independent films, including 'What Doesn't Kill You.' Ide is the co-founder, along side Senior, of J.A.M Studios, a film company focusing on comedy shorts, all of which follow the hilarious lives of a fictionalized version of themselves. Ide's latest effort is a short film entitled 'Life (AKA The Boy Who Commits a Murder)', for which he is acting as a cinematographer, co-producer, minor cast member and screenplay developer.
