Biography

Adam Mac Giolla Catháin is an actor, born in Belfast. Despite only discovering acting in recent years, Adam has made numerous TV and film appearances. He played a 16th century Irish pirate, Goliath, in Grainne Uaile - The Movie (2014). In Starred Up (2014), he played the role of a prisoner. Adam has enjoyed regular background appearances in various guises in the critically acclaimed TV series, Game of Thrones (HBO) (2011-). Adam has also appeared in a number of documentaries. He was featured in Rang Seachtó hAon (Class of 1971) (BBC/Imagine Media) (2009). He recollects memories, as one of the original pupils, at Bunscoil Phobal Feirste, the first Irish-language-medium school in Northern Ireland and the community that it served. He appeared in the documentary featuring his brothers, Deartháireacha: An Sagart agus An Rock Star (Brothers: The Priest and the Rock Star) (Waddell Media) (2013). He is a native Irish speaker. Off set, Adam is a footballer, and plays guitar (badly).
