Chris Bailey

Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Chris Bailey is an award winning LA based filmmaker. His short films "Chaining Day" and "Love Thyself" are celebrated pieces of work, and received widespread acclaim at the LA Film Festival, HBO Short Film Competition, and Pan African Film Festival. Chris is also an alumni of Film Independent's Project Involve, and was selected as a finalist for the 2015 San Francisco Film Society/KRF filmmaking grant. Chris' debut feature film, CURTIS (2019), tackles a former basketball star struggling with his mental health.
