Jocquan Carter

Quan Carter is an American Musician/Actor born Jocquan Trey Carter on August 7th in Newport News, Virginia(1991). Raised in a single parent house hold, he moved to California after Graduating high school in 2009. While Studying Filmmaking & Video Production at the Art Institute (North Hollywood) Carter began to fall deep into music; Mostly Hip Hop/R&B. He started creating freestyles under the name 'Tre Cartier' only performing for friends around campus. Following his love for the camera he landed a lead role in a (A.I) PSA about health Control. In 2011 he landed a featured extra role on Nurse Jackie (Edie Falco) after he switched his studies to fashion marketing and transfered to the Art Institute NYC (Brooklyn). Inspired by NYCs street life style & energy he dropped out of school in 2012 to pursue his dreams in music &entertainment. He moved back to California and landed small roles on MTVs Awkward(2012), and M83's short Film Claudia Lewis(2013). Since 2013, Quan has appeared in a number of commercials, short films, music videos & TV specials including Oxygen's Finding my Father(2015). He credit his influences to Will Smith, Larenz Tate, Jay Z, and so many more.
