Sophie McWhannell

Sophie MacWhannell was born in London,but moved to Leeds to study Fine Art where she studied photography and performance Art. Sophie was communications officer at the Drama Society at Leeds Metropolitan,here she became involved in Urban Sprawl Theatre Company where she learnt her trade in the theatre,acting in numerous Urban Sprawl productions including 'Trauma' ,'33 hints to the occupied','No further action','Attempts on her life','Road','wrecked','Child's play' and 'Hit me' .Sophie has acted in film productions of '27,memory Lane','The Present','Black Dog'.'Cain and Abel','Memento','Bikini Girls V Dinosaurs'. Sophie is a versatile actress ,with vast experience of improvisation,street theatre,Forum theatre and devising. Sophie attends YAFTA and currently lives in Leeds,West Yorkshire,England
