As a young child Charlotte fell in love with stories and characters through film and music; which as she grew up developed into a true passion. This combined with a love for trying new things, has left her with a very wide range of preference in both music and film, encompassing multiple different styles and genres. During her teen years, where she had no real idea as to where she wished to go, or what she wanted to do; she began to think back to a play she had done at the age of nine with her local theatre group. She realized for the first time, the joy and sense of freedom she had derived from not just acting but being a part of a cast. She then embarked on the five-year endeavour to re-join the theatre group that she had performed with as a child. At the age of twenty-two Charlotte began to write her first book, and so began a new chapter in her life. It was during this time that she discovered something which would pose a real problem to her as an author; Charlotte has mild dyslexia. With strong determination and a stubborn refusal to allow this to deter her from a new-found passion for writing; she strove to find ways around this and has now written four books. Then in the summer of 2012, Charlotte was finally offered a place with the theatre group she had spent years trying to get into, and eagerly awaited the start of rehearsals later that year. Over the years since, Charlotte has moved into screen writing, directing and producing. In March of 2018, Charlotte began the process of setting up her own production company. For the remainder of March, she researched tirelessly, and prepared to get her company, True Horror Films, ready to go. In April of 2018 she began working development and pre-production on both hers, and her company's first feature film, 'Reign of Dracula'. In May 2018, the company was registered as a limited company, with its first project in pre-production, and numerous other projects lined up for the future.
