Born in Yakima, WA, June 13, 1953. Michael grew up in Salida, CA. After high school he attended Modesto Junior College where he developed an interest in theater and acted in numerous plays. this led to many years of involvement in local theater groups, both as a performer and director.He worked on a few local film projects, including The Dark Side of Midnight. He later attended California State University, Stanislaus, earning a BA in English and a teaching credential. During his 27-year career as an educator, he took an extended break from actively participating in theater to focus on his career and help raise a family. Nearing retirement, he returned once again to local theater and is now quite active with several groups, most prominently The Prospect Theater Project in Modesto, CA. Michael continues to act and direct.
