Biography

Author of Akiti the Hunter, the 1st African Action Author Bolaji Ajayi is the Founder of Bolaji Animation Production Studios (BAPS). Ajayi most notable as given a keynote address at the United Nations on International Day of Education, featured Keynote Speaker at the World Bank, and locally, Ajayi is one the Budget Ambassadors for the City of Oakland, Mayor's Office. She is a notable journalist writing for Forbes Business Councils, Huffington Post, and more. Over the past decade, Ajayi has self-published three best-selling children's comic book series, Akiti the Hunter. Has been featured as a guest author nationally at selling out at Barnes & Nobles across the U.S. She has been invited as a Guest Author at Harvard University, the Library of Congress, and TVone, NAACP Image Awards & NAACP Author's Pavilion. Ajayi was born Nigeria but was raised in the Bay Area. Ajayi earned her bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Riverside and her Master's in Business Administration Degree from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. Ajayi is the recipient of several distinguished awards including a US Congressional Award for Outstanding Community Contributions from Congress woman Barbara Lee, a recipient of the US Senatorial Award from Senator Dianne Feinstein for Outstanding Community Leadership and received a Visionary Award from Actor Danny Glover for her acclaimed children comic book series Akiti the Hunter. Ajayi has been featured on several publications including Forbes, CNBC, the Guardian, the Sun, the Huffington Post, Thrive Global and Black Enterprise. Ajayi's spare time is devoted to promoting early childhood literacy and diversity in children's books and animation which can be observed through her children's book series, Akiti the Hunter the 1st African Action Superhero.
