Paul Rigter is a Korean born actor and documentary director, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. During university he started acting on stage at Toneelgroep Amsterdam led by director Gerardjan Rijnders. After several years of stage and screen acting Paul combined his acting with producing and directing his first documentary 'Spelen voor het verleden' (Play for the past). After this he directed the critically acclaimed documentary 'The Nose - Searching for Blamage' about a rebel perfumer, which premiered at the HotDocs Festival. Recently Paul Rigter directed for Dutch national TV the three part documentary TV series 'Helden van het Maxima' about the workers in a brand new children's hospital.
As an actor he recently participated in the tv series Treadstone (NBC, USA) and Cold Courage (Lionsgate, Finland/Ireland/Belgium).
