Aaron Anastasi

Biography

Southern Californian native, Aaron Paul Anastasi, is an actor, a successful entrepreneur and an executive coach to an exclusive small clientele. He was born to an Italian father with English and Irish ancestry and an Italian mother with Scottish and Greek ancestry. He is most recognized for his roles on Marvel's Runaways, 9-1-1, Bosch and Say You Will. Experiencing successful music and coaching careers, and after what could only be called a divine intervention, Anastasi began focusing on building his third successful career as an actor. He honed his skills under actor Cress Williams of Black Lightning fame, multi-Emmy-award-nominated director, Robert Allen Ackerman, and acting coach Lesly Kahn of Lesly Kahn & Company. Anastasi has appeared in numerous TV series, most recently, a recurring role on The Baxters. After shaving his head, his career has taken off. His appearance as Adrian on Marvel's Runaways brought new Marvel fans and a continued desire to be part of the Marvel universe. A prolific creator, Anastasi has also written, produced and starred in the episodic web series entitled Adam & Jamero, produced 3 documentaries and played a vigilante ex-cop in the film, Vigilance, which he wrote, produced and starred in. Anastasi played a DJ on Disney's Hyperlinked, and often plays the efficient paramedic on such shows as 9-1-1 and Bosch. His tattoos, shaved head, and innate understanding of the human psyche, based on years of coaching and training, combined with an intense personal drive to succeed at anything he pursues, promises more challenging lead roles in his future playing villains, cops, and detectives, among others. Anastasi's early years were filled with surfing, playing guitar and performing music as a way of coping with the challenges of an impoverished childhood. In high school, Anastasi trained, acted and sang in a number of music theater productions. A talented singer/songwriter and vocal coach, his music career took off, and for many years Anastasi spent summers and weekends touring widely, performing music, sketch and stand-up comedy with his own band and others, including Nathan Chapman, two-time Grammy Award winning producer of Taylor Swift. Academics also came naturally to Anastasi. After high school he received a Humanities BA degree from Lee University and achieved a Masters from Princeton Theological Seminary, where he studied philosophy, psychology, and theology. As the second son of four boys, he was the first person in his family to graduate college after growing up in a struggling blue collar household. After Anastasi stopped performing music, he co-founded several successful music-oriented businesses, including an online singing course entitled Superior Singing Method (SSM), with long-time best friend, Chas Smith, a fellow musician and college roommate, along with Chas's brother, Matt. With over 50 million views on YouTube and 500,000 subscribers, Superior Singing Method is world-renowned and has been ranked as the #1 online singing program for the last 10 years. Anastasi's academic training proved invaluable when he began coaching clients in industry-leading roles, ranging from film directors to Netflix and Google executives to TEDx speakers. He credits EST Founder, Werner Erhard, as well as Byron Katie, with the transformational style he employs which is also based on his extensive reading of personal development and leadership materials. Taking his own coaching advice, Anastasi is limiting his executive coaching to a small, exclusive high-profile clientele in order to fully pursue his passion for acting.
