Rodeo Whiter is a young England-based film-maker. While she works freelance on a number of projects such as adverts and music videos, her passion lies in storytelling.
Rodeo first began her career as a filmmaker from a young age, working with Film Oxford; a local production company. The first project she was involved in with Film Oxford was a documentary, which she directed. Throughout her career with Film Oxford, Rodeo was involved in a number of projects, she co-founded a film-making group for young people, and continues to aid the company as a Trustee on the Management Committee.
In the meantime, Rodeo continued to work on her own projects as well as beginning to form ties with the BFI, attending a prestigious national course at the National Film and TV School. She continued to make adverts and music videos for web-release and/or TV.
She then went on to study Digital Film Making at the SAE Institute, Oxford, at degree level. Alongside her course, she worked on a freelance basis, making promos for Studio Blanco; a photography studio. She also began working for the Whispering Bob Broadcast Company as DOP, shooting live sessions with various musicians. She continued to work on music videos and promos under her own brand; Rodeax Films, screenwrite on a freelance basis, and she also continued to work as 1st AD on various short films, including the award-winning, Edit/Undo.
Specialising in writing and directing, Rodeo Whiter continues to work on a wide range of projects, and remains infinitely passionate about film.
