Ruixuan Bai

Bai Ruixuan is a Chinese-born writer-director based in Sydney, Australia. He worked under the renowned Chinese film director Zhang Yimou before he begins his own filmmaking career. He interprets films as a personal medium to visualize his extremely unique, surrealistic imaginations, which encapsulate the mystery of the mundane world with poetic, philosophical visual-storytelling approaches. His films often experiment across multiple genres - drama, mystery, sci-fi, fantasy, and dark comedy.
