Kaloyan Minev

Kal Minev was born on September 19th, 1996. In 2015, he graduated from the National School of Applied Arts in Sofia. He specialized in woodcarving and sculpture which he continues to practise as a means of artistic expression. In late summer 2015, he began studying acting in the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia. In 2016, he began modelling, shooting for popular Bulgarian magazines such as '12 Magazine' and 'Under The Line', acted in various TV commercials, and took part in Sofia Fashion Week 2016. In 2017, he was invited to shoot in a short, 'M'. Not long after was his debut as a lead role in the feature film - 'XIIA'. The film became one of the most watched films of 2017 in Bulgaria and was screened at the Cannes Film Festival the same year. A few months later, Kal was cast for the role of Daniel in one of the most popular Bulgarian web series - 'Follow me'. The sequel is a nominee for the Best Returning Series in Web Fest Berlin 2018.
