With a background in film Giullianna produced many independent shorts such as A Touch of Aurora (2018) which was nominated for best short film at the Albuquerque Film & Music Experience and won best short film and the jury award at the North American Film Awards and the Top Shorts Film Festival. She played lead roles in web-series and many independent films in Los Angeles. Currently training at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Giullianna has played roles from Shakespeare's Viola in Twelfth Night, to Masha in Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters and Mrs. Borkman in Ibsen's John Gabriel Borkman. Most recently she played the lead role in the film Ballroom Dreams, Abigail in an online production of the Crucible and is looking forward to playing Horatio this autumn in Shakespeare's Hamlet. She continues to train with her acting coach of many years, Lea Floden, who trained with William Esper, worked with Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, and the RSC's co-founder and Shakespeare teacher John Barton. She is curious about exploring the intricacies of the human condition and enjoys watercolour painting, yoga and a cup of tea with a good book. She is a mezzo-soprano and is proud to be fully bilingual in Spanish as her family is originally from Colombia.
