.Maria Zani was born in Glasgow Scotland She grew up in Glasgow in a large Victorian villa with her middle class family and during her teens spent her summers at her family home in the mountain range of northern Italy with her two younger brothers and older sister. She a trained method actress and for many years became an renowned director of Toonspeak Young People Theatre sitting on their broad of directors , Her first love was theatre she comes from a background in Musical theatre At the age of 18 she opened her own youth theatre project she's a painter, writer, script writer and playwright. She multi talented gifted individual . She never her Dyslexia beat her she was diagnosed when she was in 1st year at University. She studied Marketing at the University of the West of Scotland. She was part of the mountaineering group for 2 years she was the only girl In her second year she directed her first play . During her early 20's she did a year with ERAMUS studying Business and Economics at the University of Genoa in Northern Italy. She works in now in publishing film making Radio. She is the director of International Relations with Co Director Evelyn Hills, for Marfa House Publishing part of Big Ben Productions LLC and her new role see her as the branch manager of Lost Mine Films based in the US she work remotely from the UK This film company will cover documentaries, short films, feature films, book trailers music videos corporate videos animation web-series TV series and much more She handles international authors and graphic comics as well as a script consultant and sales agent for script writers. She is also a freelance producer film director; 1st ad , set designer , music manager, event former music promoter and artist manager and a literary agent. She had a career as a social media and marketing promoter, booking agent, singer and model. She works as a talent manager developing and discovering new talents across the globe. She is an actress who has just started her own multimedia PR production literacy agency and co -director of on line record label with Hop Artist EMAK BC. She helps to manage and work with music artists actors and crew across the Globe She works for Sky PLC in a call centre. She currently lives in Glasgow with her cat Zorro. Currently she busy optioning 3 TV series created by Novelist Claire Voet and script writer Lee O'Connor and numerous films and TV projects including a factual documentary based on Michael Jackson She is collaborating to co-produce a feature film to be shot in India which has been written by Evelyn Hills and busy producing short films in Glasgow and Edinburgh . Next year her first novel will be published entitled The Gift set in Glasgow its a supernatural thriller and her first debut feature film will be set in pre production by the end of 2018 and in process of directing her first short film. . In the past she worked at Angel Artist as a PA researcher and Music manager who clients included Taylor Dayne and Tony Cowell. She had been part of Scare Scotland as an actress and was represented by several casting agencies. She is also an internet DJ and Radio presenter. She has a brown belt in Karate and introduction to horse riding and broadsword training. She was part of the Edinburgh Fringe festival Generation of Z show in 2014 as a Zombie. She currently on the raise as one of the leading Independent film-maker in Scotland and will be expending across the globe and has been totted as one to watch.
