Stephanie Scanlon

Biography

Stephanie Scanlon is a true artist, and she performs her craft behind the stylist's chair. Her amazing career began at Germany's most prestigious address for hair - the Marlies Möller Salon in Hamburg - where Stephanie honed her skills through intense schooling and a curriculum of countless cutting and styling seminars, followed by professional tours in France and Greece. Moving to the US in 1998, Stephanie joined José Eber (think Farrah Fawcett, Elizabeth Taylor and Cher) at his famous Atelier on the Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, and made a name for herself styling hair for the very rich and very famous. Her signature up-do's enhanced her reputation and landed her jobs on countless award shows, fashion shows, TV shows, movies, photo shoots, commercials, and print advertisements. Her styling chair became a frequent stop for many celebrities such as Melanie Griffith, Dakota Johnson, Marla Maples, Tiffany Trump, George Hamilton, Jaqueline Bisset, Kathy Ireland, Paul Walker, Clint Black, Richie Sambora and the Tom Selleck family, just to name a few. In 2014 Stephanie left the José Eber Atelier to focus her energies on styling for TV and film production, and private celebrity bookings. These days, you will just as likely find her on a client's private jet, on set at a TV shoot, or on the red carpet at the Oscars. Though her career has taken her from the small town Ratzeburg to Hollywood, Stephanie's heart hasn't really travelled very far - she's still happiest right behind that styling chair, pouring her creative energy into making beautiful hair and making her clients happy. In 2018, Stephanie Scanlon has published the Hollywood Beauty Magazine - An online harbor for anything beauty related. HBM is a combination of an educational Magazine and a social network site that connects the beauty world.
